Well, I’m still on my hiatus but being the patriotic vintage gal I am (the kind who’s often moved to tears by the Star Spangled Banner), I had to share a little of my lazy, vintage Fourth of July with you!
My family went to an old-fashioned Independence Day potluck cook-out hosted by Cowboy’s church, the Latter Day Saints, at the appropriately named Viking Lake. It was a long drive but the destination was just lovely!
